This is a psychometric assessment using game technology, so while it is in an engaging and visually appealing format, it is still an assessment and you should focus on the instructions carefully. There are 9 levels in the assessment consisting of various tasks.
For Numerical Test part, there will be six data sets, each with three questions about them. For each question, there is only one correct answer. You have a limited amount of time to answer all the questions. So, to perform well, you will need to work both accurately and quickly.
Try to find a time and place where you will not be interrupted during the test.
1. Sequence
First round:
Leaflets for an event in the PwC building need to be distributed. When the screen darkens, a sequence of stamps will appear to show you the order in which the leaflets need to be packed. Memorise the sequence of stamps. Repeat the sequence when the screen lightens by clicking on the leaflets in the correct order.
Second round:
A new type of stamp will now appear in addition to the original type. These new stamps are not part of the sequence and you must ignore them. Memorise and repeat only the original type of stamp, as before.
* You can use your phone to record video or use pen and paper to remember the sequence and get better grade in this task, but do not get them all right, the system may judge you cheat. Most people can remember 7-12 sequences.
2. Energy
There has been a power cut. You must restore as much power to the building as possible. Click to pull the levers on the generators to generate power. The generators produce different amounts of power which do not change. However due to a fault, pulling the levers might drain a variable amount of power as well. So with each lever pull, you will either gain or lose power overall. This meter shows the total amount of power restored. You will get large number of lever pulls, but choose wisely!
3. Direction
You must guide visitors to the building using the computer terminal. The middle arrow indicates the best route. Press P on your keyboard if the arrow is facing to the right. Press the Q on your keyboard if the arrow is facing to the left.
Sometimes the surrounding arrows face in the same direction as the middle arrow. Sometimes they face in the opposite direction. You should only focus on the middle arrow. Sometimes the surrounding shapes are dashes. Press the button that matches the direction of the arrow.
However, when the surrounding shapes are Xs, do not tap either button. If you press before the arrow appear, an error will show. The screen will also show an error if you don’t press at all. As more visitors arrive over time, the arrow will appear on the
screen more quickly.
4. Team
At PwC there are two teams, Team Neptune and Team Jupiter, each of which has launched a new tablet computer on the market. The profit that each team makes depends on the retail prices that both teams set.
You are a member of Team Neptune, and it is your role to set either a high or low retail price for your tablet each week, by clicking the corresponding button. If you choose to set a high price for Team Neptune and Team Jupiter also set a high price. Each team will make a profit of £200.
However, if Team Jupiter sets a low price, your team will make £0 while team Jupiter will make £300. If you choose to set a low price for Team Neptune and Team Jupiter sets a high price, your team will make a profit of £300, while Team Jupiter will make £0. If both team set a low price, each team will make a profit of £50. Team Jupiter will make a choice independent of your choice, but will learn from previous choices.
At the beginning, you can try high price and low price in turn, but you should prefer to use high price to cooperate with others.
Suggested strategy: High price - Low price - High price at first 3 rounds.

Your task is to sort tickets for staff attending an event. The shapes and numbers will help you to distribute tickets to the right staff. When a shape appears in the top box
press Q on your keyboard if the number on the ticket is even, or press P on your keyboard if it is odd. When a shape appears in the button box, press Q on your keyboard if the shape on the ticket has rounded edges, or press P on your keyboard if the edges are not rounded. An error message will show if you press to early and the ticket will be void. An error message will also show if you don’t respond in time. Try to answer as quickly as possible.
