The duration of the PwC 2023 assessment centre walkthrough is 5 hours in total, which has 4 parts.
Each candidates has different time for one-on-one interview, and group discussion session is fixed at the end. Other parts is freely arranged.
1. one-on-one interview (about 30 minutes)
The questions asked were relatively basic 3 why questions. why us, why you and why this position with some follow-up questions.
There are some examples from actual interview:
What do you think is your favorite part of the job?
How to organise your time when you are very busy?
What do you do if your key client doesn't give you critical information at work?
What is the risk of lack of information at work?
Please understand the company and the position you are applying in advance, and make sure to do more research on the company.
2. Group Discussion (about 30 minutes)
3-4 candidates group discussion, you need to search for case information and PwC business line in advance, each candidates will be expecting different role in the assessment.
The most important thing is to contribute your own ideas and add your own views to what others have said. You can challenge other people's views appropriately, but do not be too aggressive.
If you ended earlier than you planed, you could cue everyone at the end to see if you had missed anything in the topic and summarise it.
3. Numerical Reasoning Test
There are 5 numerical reasoning tests in this part. Pay attention to the email format. Do not show your personal information in the answer!
The question bank contains most of group discussion cases, report written cases and nearly all numerical questions. But you still need to notice the there might be slightly change in the numerical part.
4. Report Written (500 words)
It is more important to have a complete structure.
Introduction - Main body - Conclusion
