Your experience of our assessment process is important to Deutsche Bank. Deutsche Bank have taken care to design assessments that provide us with the right information to understand whether you will be well suited to our requirements whilst also helping you find out a bit more about us and the skills you require to work here.
Here is an overview of the assessment steps and how to best prepare.
Stage 1 - Situational Judgement Test
You will be presented with written work-related scenarios each with possible responses which you must rank. The scenarios reflect situations you would likely encounter in the role you have applied for so it’s a useful assessment to help you understand more about the company too.
The assessment is not timed so you can work through it at your own pace but we do recommend completing it in one sitting and to be honest in your responses.
You will receive a feedback report, which will be emailed to you separately which we hope you find it insightful.
There are 2 versions for Deutsche Bank Situational Judgement Test - 18 questions version & 24 questions version. Candidates can know the version they will meet in the introduction before the formal assessment.
This behavioural questionnaire is designed for HR to get to know more about your working styles and preferences. This part will not be timed and we encourage you to be true to yourself in your responses.

Stage 2 - SHL Behaviour Ability Assessment
This behavioural questionnaire is designed for HR to get to know more about your working styles and preferences. This part will not be timed and we encourage you to be true to yourself in your responses.
The ability assessment helps us to understand whether you have the right level of critical reasoning we need. We find that the roles on offer do involve learning fast and evaluating a lot of information. This part will be timed and we recommend having a calculator, paper and a pen to help with any workings. The assessment measures your inductive, numerical and deductive reasoning.

Stage 3 - Video Interview
If you matched our requirements from the previous two stages, then the final online assessment will be available to you. This final stage is our video interview. The video interview will involve recording a short 2-minute video response to a set of three questions designed to understand more about your interests in the role and Deutsche Bank.
Your responses will later be reviewed by our Deutsche Bank team and they will be in touch with you about next steps.
