This assessment will identify your strengths and allocate you to future projects. Please work through this steadily with no distractions. You will be expecting 12 types of game in this assessment.
Pymetrics Game-based Assessment Introduction Video
1. Money Exchange 1
For this trial, you will be working with another random participant. Follow the instructions that will be given to you throughout the trial.
2. Keypresses
You will be presented with a countdown timer. When the message "GO!" appears, repeatedly hit the spacebar as fast as you can until you are told to stop.
3. Balloons
The goal of this game is to accumulate as much money as possible by pumping balloons. Each balloon has an explosion point, where too much pumping pops the balloon.
Please notice that the different-color balloons have different average explosion point. You better try the explosion area
4. Money Exchange 2
For this trial, you will be working with another random participant. Follow the instructions that will be given to you throughout the trail.
5. Digits
A sequence of numbers will appear rapidly, one number at a time. Remember the sequence and enter it as quickly as possible when prompted. The length of the sequence will increase by one if you get the sequence right, and decrease by one if you get the sequence wrong. The game ends when you get 3 rounds wrong.
You can use your phone to record the sequence of numbers, but please notice do not complete this game perfectly. Our expertise can remember approximately 11-14 digits by themselves.
6. Easy or Hard
For each trial, you will choose between two tasks. For the easy task, you have 3 seconds to hit the spacebar 5 times. For the hard task, you have 12 seconds to hit the spacebar 60 times. You will have to choose Easy or Hard to earn money. After 5 seconds, one will be chosen at random for you.
You will be given a probability on how likely you will earn money at the beginning.
7. Stop 1
For each trial, you will be presented with a green circle or a red circle. Press the spacebar when you see a red circle. Do not do anything when you see a green circle. Please respond as quickly and accurately as possible.
8. Cards
The goal of this game is to win as much money as possible by drawing cards. Some cards will earn you a reward, but some cards will have a penalty and you will lose money.
9. Arrows
If arrows are blue or black, use to indicate which direction the center arrow points. If arrows are red, use to indicate which direction the side arrows point.
10. Lengths
You will see one of two faces: If you think the face has a little mouth, press left, if you think the face has a big mouth, press the right.
11. Towers
Your goal is to make the bottom towers match the target towers using as few moves as possible. You can only move the top disk on a tower. You can only move one disk at a time.
12. Faces
You will be shown photographs of people with different facial expressions. Choose the word you believe best describes what the person is feeling. Some photographs will be accompanies by a short story describing a situation, where you will have 30 seconds to answer. Other photographs will be presented alone, where you will have 7 seconds to answer. Make sure to read each story completely: some of them may appear similar, but are in fact telling different stories.
After finishing Blackstone Pymetrics Game-based Assessment, you will be expecting to complete the Digital Interview. Getting the questions in advance could help you pass the assessment easier!
